Give Your Own Definition on DSS and BI

DSS (Decision Support System) is what we say as a decision maker that come from a problem after we see a problem there are a choice that we can see from our main set and because of that too there are a decision that is what we call as a DSS.

DSS architecture

BI (Business Intelligence) is what we know as a people who is known as a opportunity maker that when it comes from a pressure where the idea comes from.

BI architecture

Differences between DSS and BI are:
  1. DSS starts with a problem but BI starts when it is under a pressure or has an opportunity
  2. DSS is more harder when it comes to architecture(especially on model part) than BI
  3. BI is more harder when it comes to analytic difference than DSS that just making a decision whether they know the consequence

But when there is a list of differences between them there is also a connection between them:
  1.  Their architecture is similar because DSS is evolved to BI
  2. DSS is directly to make a decision (more faster) but BI Indirectly to make a decision (Step by step) but their job is to make a decision
  3. DSS problem is a part of BI pressure and BI opportunity is a part of DSS problem solving

  1. It s a great post but I need to write some notes for you:

    1) A DSS is not a decision maker. It is a computerized system that support decision making process. The decision maker is the human or the people. You need to improve about your definition on DSS.

    2) So is your definition on BI. You need to improve it and make it better.

    3) You need to improve your english a lot. Please learn english harder to get the same level as your peers.

Anyway it is a great post. Thank you.
